
Sell Wins Third USA 25K Championship
Sunny skies and ideal conditions of 42 degrees and calm winds met athletes for the 15th running of the Fifth Third River Bank Run 25K in Grand Rapids, MI. Brian Sell (Rochester Hills, MI) successfully defended his men's national title running 1:15:08 while Paige Higgins (Littleton, CO) won her first USA road title in 1:30:49, Saturday at the USA 25K Championships.

U.S. 25K Championships This Weekend
Brian Sell (Rochester Hills, MI) will look to defend his men's national title and Kristin Price (Raleigh, NC) will lead the women's field Saturday at the 15th running of the USA 25 km Championships in Grand Rapids, MI. The Championships are held in conjunction with the Fifth Third River Bank Run.

The Steamboat Springs Running Series got underway on May 3 with the 23rd annual Spirit Challenge 5K/10K. Derek Leidigh won the men's 5-kilometer in 19:37.
Regional Race Report: Colorado Marathon
On a perfect morning for running, nearly 2,500 participants gathered in Fort Collins for the annual Colorado Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. 686 people finished their marathon trek down the Poudre Canyon. Leading the way was Brian Scott of Naperville, IL, who won in 2:31:33 was three minutes faster than second place.
