The men’s race features some of the world’s best marathoners, including world record-holder Dennis Kimetto of Kenya, 2014 London Marathon champion Wilson Kipsang of Kenya and 2015 London Marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya. On the women’s side, 2012 and 2014 champion Mary Keitany of Kenya looks for her third victory at the London Marathon, while Tigist Tufa of Ethiopia defends her title from a year ago. The course runs from Blackheath and Greenwich Park through Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, and Tower Hill, finishing at The Mall.
