ING Miami Marathon Entries Up, Event is Jan. 31

MIAMI, Fl. - Entries for the 2010 ING Miami Marathon and Half-Marathon® which will be held Sunday, January 31, 2010 through the streets of downtown Miami, Miami Beach and Coconut Grove, are trending 20% higher than in 2009 and more than 18,000 runners are expected to participate this year.

Start time for wheelchairs as well as runners was delayed by nearly an hour as crews worked to replace barricades knocked over during event preparation by westerly winds gusting up to 28 mph at 6 a.m.
