According to race officials, the event is expected to draw more than 2,800 runners during a full evening of racing in addition to the men’s and women’s championship races. The Medtronic TC 1 Mile will also feature a new course, starting near the Mill City Museum, racing past Gold Medal Park, and finishing along the Mississippi Riverfront near the Guthrie Theatre.
The mile races start at 6:30 p.m. with the women’s championship race scheduled for 7:54 p.m. and the men’s championship race at 8:06 p.m.
Newport 10,000 – Jersey City
Rob Molke and Jon Peterson will be among the competitors at the Newport 10,000 in Jersey City on May 14. Molke has a best of 28:57 in the 10,000 meters and Peterson has posted 28:50 in the distance.
The race starts at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern).
