Kampf has a best in the road mile of 4:19.8, while Cheever has run 4:35.92 in the distance, and Peyton has posted 4:40.5. The Navy Mile is the last stop on the 2016 Bring Back the Mile Grand Prix Tour with Kampf currently leading the female tour rankings.
The race will also be the last competition of the season for Kampf and Cheever before they take their fall breaks. Next up for Peyton, however, will be the USA 10 Mile Championships which will be held at Twin Cities on Oct. 9.
