Jermann will be making his first appearance at the 20k Championships, which are hosted by the 40th annual Faxon Law New Haven Road Race. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern). Jermann, who joined Team USA Minnesota this summer, is a 2015 graduate of Iowa State University.
His running credentials to date include seven marathons, including third and fourth place finishes at the 2006 and 2007 Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon respectively, and 10th place at the 2016 Grandma’s Marathon. He has a best in the marathon of 2:16. He also won last spring’s 2017 USATF 50k Championships in a time of 2:48.
The Victory 10k, which starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sept. 4, is hosted by the Minnesota Distance Running Association (MDRA) and is the site of the USATF Minnesota Fall 10k Championships. The flat and fast race begins and ends at Webber Park in north Minneapolis.
On the track, Moen has a best of 33:05 in the 10k, while Molke and Peterson have posted 28:57 and 28:50 respectively. Moen will be competing in road and cross country races throughout the fall, with Molke and Peterson aiming toward a late fall marathon.
