Minneapolis/St. Paul – Aug. 9, 2011 - Five Team USA Minnesota distance runners will compete in Falmouth, Mass., this weekend including in the New Balance Falmouth Elite Mile on Aug. 13 and the New Balance Falmouth 7-Mile Road Race on Aug. 14.

Gabriele Anderson to Finish European Track Season in London, Aug. 6; Katie McGregor, Emily Brown 1st and 2nd at Heart of Summer 10k

Minneapolis/St. Paul – July 26, 2011 – Team USA Minnesota’s Gabriele Anderson will conclude her European track season by competing in the 1500 meters at the Aviva London Grand Prix - part of the Samsung Diamond League - on Aug. 6. In London at the Crystal Palace, Anderson will be part of a USA vs. Great Britain format with five women running for each country.

Katie McGregor, Emily Brown to Run Heart of Summer 10k July 23; Heather Kampf, Gabriele Anderson Set Additional PRs in Europe

Minneapolis/St. Paul – July 20, 2011 – Team USA Minnesota’s Katie McGregor and Emily Brown will be among the elite women’s field at the eighth annual Boston Scientific Heart of Summer 10k in Minneapolis on July 23.  The race – with proceeds helping to fund local heart health initiatives – begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be held on a course around Lake Nokomis.

Meghan Peyton, Megan Hogan Named RRCA Roads Scholars; Heather Kampf Wins Two Races in Europe

Minneapolis/St. Paul – July 14, 2011 – Team USA Minnesota’s Meghan Peyton and Megan Hogan have been selected to receive Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Roads Scholar grants for 2011.  They were among six U.S. athletes named with the grants going directly to the athletes to help support their goals of becoming world-class distance runners.

21 Distance Runners Selected for 1st RunPro Camp Set for July 14-17 in Minneapolis

Minneapolis – July 11, 2011 – Twenty-one distance runners, who have recently graduated from colleges and universities throughout the country, have been selected to attend the first-ever RunPro Camp designed specifically for athletes who are interested in pursuing a professional running career.  The camp will be held July 14-17 in Minneapolis.
