Suver To Compete In St. Louis Half Marathon; Macias, Brown & Levassiur in St. Louis Marathon

(Colorado Springs, CO) - Mattie Suver (adidas/BRC) will compete for the win and a $10,000 first-place prize purse at the St. Louis Half Marathon on Sunday. Suver will face a small but talented field that includes Maegan Krifchin who boasts a 1:10:56 personal best and was the top American finisher at the 2012 World Half Marathon Championships finishing 13th. Prize money only goes three deep with 2nd and 3rd taking home $5,000 and $2,000, respectively.

Williams Wins Stanford Invitational 5,000-meters And Posts World Championships A Standard And World Leading Mark
(Colorado Springs, CO) - Alisha Williams (adidas/BRC) closed with a quick 65-second last lap to outpace a talented field and post a world leading mark of 15:09.73 in the 5,000-meters at the Stanford Invitational on Friday.  Williams' time is well below the World Championships A standard of 15:18.00, marking her as a strong candidate to make the World Championships to be held in Moscow in August.

Suver 26th At IAAF World Cross Country Championships; Team USA 4th
(Colorado Springs, CO) - Mattie Suver (adidas/BRC) charged through snow, ice, mud, hills and natural obstacles to finish 26th-place at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Bydgoszcz, Poland in freezing temperatures on Sunday. Suver finished as the third scoring member of the six-woman senior Team USA behind Neely Spence and Emily Infeld, helping the young US squad to a respectable 4th-place team finish.

Korir Debuts With 4th-Place At New York City Half Marathon - (Colorado Springs, CO) - In an world class field, Leonard Korir (Nike) ran an impressive debut of 1:01:19 to finish 4th-place in Sunday's New York City Half Marathon. Korir, a member of the ADP's International Elite, earned $3,500 for his effort but more importantly is earning respect as a professional road racer as eventual winner and Olympic medalist Wilson Kipsang, who finished 17-seconds up, remarked he was interested to see how Korir fared in his debut.
