Suver Places 7th At US XC To Secure World Team Birth; WCAP Men Lead US Army To Team Title

(St. Louis, MO) - Mattie Suver (adidas/BRC) finished 7th at the US Cross Country Championships and likely punched her ticket to represent Team USA at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships to be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland, March 24th.  Brianne Nelson (adidas/BRC) finished a strong 11th as the duo worked together trading leads in the chase pack as Olympian Shalane Flanagan ran away with the title.

Four Team USA Minnesota Runners in Top 25 at USA Cross Country Championships on Feb. 2; Heather Kampf Runs 4:39 Indoor Mile

Minneapolis/St. Paul – Feb. 4, 2013 – All four Team USA Minnesota runners competing at the USA Cross Country Championships in St. Louis on Feb. 2 finished in the top 25, with Jamie Cheever leading the way by finishing 10th in the open women’s 8 km race.  Her time was 27:20.

ADP Adds Olympic Trials Middle Distance Runner Craig Miller & Marathoner Daniel Tapia

(Colorado Springs, CO) - Craig Miller (New Balance) and Daniel Tapia (SRA) have joined the American Distance Project this January.  Miller will make the move after the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, while Tapia will move to Colorado Springs permanently after training bouts at Colorado altitude focused on April's Boston Marathon.

Foster Wins Arizona Rock & Roll Marathon; Nelson Takes Title At Fast & Flurry-ous 4M XC  - (Colorado Springs, CO) - Christie Foster (adidas/BRC) took the lead early and never looked back to win the Arizona Rock & Roll Marathon on Sunday in Phoenix. Foster ran solo the entire way, never seeing another female competitor over the hilly course. With temperatures rising during the second half, the field slowed but Foster was still able to win with a comfortable 2-minute 30-second margin in 2:44:42 and picked up $1000 for her efforts.

Heather Kampf Wins Bermuda Mile; Results from Jack Johnson Classic - Jon Peterson, Jamie Cheever Win 3000m

Minneapolis/St. Paul – Jan. 21, 2013 – Team USA Minnesota’s Heather Kampf won the Bermuda Mile on Jan. 18 with a time of 4:49, marking the fifth mile race she has won in less than a year.  Kampf was part of the elite women’s field that competed at the 25th KPMG Bermuda Invitational Mile in Hamilton.
