PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad - Robert Cheseret (Colorado Springs, Colo.) took the individual title in the men's 8 km and Megan Duwell (Flagstaff, Ariz.) won silver in the women's 6 km to lead Team USA men and women to the team gold medals. Chelsea Orr (Sammamish, Wash.) won individual gold in the junior women's 6 km to lead the U.S. to a team silver medal Saturday, at the seventh annual North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Cross Country Championships at Queen's Park Savannah in Trinidad.
SAN DIEGO – Olympic Bronze medalist and American record holder Shalane Flanagan (Portland, Ore.) dominated the women’s field to win her fifth USA Cross Country title, while Brent Vaughn (Blackhawk, Colo.) surprised the men’s field to win his first USA title Saturday at the 2011 USA Cross Country Championships.

Cuffe was surprised with the news during her sixth period class by professional runner and Summer Games gold medalist Allyson Felix, who won the Gatorade National Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year award in 2002-03, then captured Gatorade Female High School Athlete of the Year honors in 2003.
