EUGENE, Ore. - (December 1, 2009) - The inaugural Eugene Women's Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 5, 2010 and will be capped at 2,500 runners and walkers. The 13.1 mile event will be produced by the Eugene Marathon. Since 2003, according to Running USA, the half-marathon has been the fastest growing road race distance in the U.S. with double digit gains over the past three years.

International elite field to lead largest marathon and half-marathon in Texas - San Antonio, TX – More than 31,000 entrants from all 50 states and 23 countries will descend on south Texas to run the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon and 1/2 Marathon on Sunday, November 15.
