Drake Relays Presented By Hy-Vee Announces Final Four Rio Olympic Rematch Fields

DES MOINES, Iowa –The Drake Relays presented by Hy-Vee announced the final four Rio Olympic Rematch events for next week’s 108th edition of the Drake Relays presented by Hy-Vee. Blake Boldon, the Franklin P. Johnson Director of the Drake Relays, unveiled the competitors for the men’s 400 meters, women’s 110-meter hurdles and the men’s and women’s pole vault. The addition of those four events brings the total number of Olympians set to compete at the Drake Relays to 74.

DES MOINES, Iowa– Grand Blue Mile race officials today announced the elite fields for the 2017 USA Men’s & Women’s 1 Mile Road Championships set for Tuesday, April 25, in Des Moines. A world-class group of elite runners will headline the event, along with more than 2,500 participants who will compete among the recreational and amateur competitive divisions.

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico -- Just over a year and a half after a kidney transplant, Aries Merritt (Atlanta, Georgia) completed a storybook comeback, winning the 60-meter hurdles title to highlight the final day of the USATF Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Over the three-day Championships, two world bests were set and eight meet records were broken or tied.
