With 1,500 feet of climbing and some highly technical sections, some have described it as the hardest race they've ever run, with two big climbs, both ¼ mile with 18.5% and 22+% averages, plus no less than 9 difficult climbs.

Sally MeyerhoffDespite running with flu-like symptoms, King won the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship for the third consecutive year today at Kualoa Ranch. King, who is from Bend, Oregon, completed the 12.9 mile course in 1 hour, 16 minutes, 36 seconds.
