INDIANAPOLIS - The USA Track & Field Foundation is currently accepting youth grant applications from interested clubs and organizations for its final round of 2010 youth grants, announced USATF Foundation Executive Director Tom Jackovic.  The youth grants typically fund such expenses as uniforms, travel expenses, equipment and entry fees.

Mika Brzezinski Named Team for Kids Ambassador

Runner is co-host of popular MSNBC show Morning Joe - NEW YORK - The New York Road Runners' Team for Kids program received a boost last Thursday when Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC's Morning Joe, was named the first TFK ambassador. Team for Kids is a committed group of adult runners from around the world who add meaning to their miles by raising funds on behalf of NYRR youth services, and in return, receive guaranteed entry into premier NYRR events, including the ING New York City Marathon, where more than 1,200 people will run as part of the group on Sunday, November 7, 2010.

Apply Today for an RRCA: Kids Run the Nation Grant

The Road Runners Club of America developed the Kids Run the Nation Fund in 2007 to assists organizations interested in implementing or currently hosting youth running programs.  Small grants from the Kids Run the Nation Fund are awarded on an annual basis through an application and selection process.
