Washington Freedom Renames W-League Team the Freedom Futures Teen Triathlete Hunter Lussi’s America Fitness Tri Sponsors Team

BOYDS, Md. — The Washington Freedom of Women’s Professional Soccer has officially renamed its W-league team affiliate.  The W-league team, which plays in the United States Soccer League (USL Division 1), has been changed from the Washington Freedom W-league to the Freedom Futures, a move made to reinforce the difference between the W-league team and the WPS first team, the Washington Freedom.

The Big Sur International Marathon finds itself in prestigious company, alongside Boston and New York City, having just been named one of America’s top three marathons by the editors of Runner’s World magazine.  The honor comes at an opportune time as the Big Sur Marathon is gearing up for its 25th Presentation in April 2010.

John Truax and Josh Rowe were the first inquiring minds who suggested an event on campus, and in November 1998, the Nike Border Clash became a reality! Now, in 2009, eleven years later, and in Nike Border Clash XI, the dream is a reality...but, be careful, what you wish for.....
