The U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The event will begin at 10 AM Eastern in Orlando, Florida. The men's field will be, at this time, fighting over two Olympic berths, with the possibility of a third being opened January 30, 2024, orafter the Tokyo Marathon in March 2024.
The U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon is one of the most important properties that USATF and the USOPC manage (USOPC owns rights for Olympic Trials). However, in nearly every Trial, there is some controversy. In 2024, the event has been the focus of our friends at Runners World, Lets Run and others on the irregularities, from the crisis over the timing of the start to the lack of a signed contract, and now, to the naming of the prize purse on Friday just the week prior to the Trials.
Get past all of that and watch the Trials on NBC TV or Peacock, a streaming service from NBC. The entries and info on the 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials can be found
