Regional Race Report: Colorado Marathon

On a perfect morning for running, nearly 2,500 participants gathered in Fort Collins for the annual Colorado Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. 686 people finished their marathon trek down the Poudre Canyon. Leading the way was Brian Scott of Naperville, IL, who won in 2:31:33 was three minutes faster than second place. Former course record holder Mercedes Gil of Fort Collins was the first female, running 3:01:01.
