Below is a statement from TrackTown USA CEO Michael Reilly regarding the impact of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on preparations for hosting the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field:

March 17, 2020 (Utica, NY) For 42 years, the Boilermaker has brought our community together. Throughout, the safety and well-being of our runners, spectators, staff, volunteers and our community at-large, has been our number one priority.

Due to public health concerns, the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum will be closed temporarily beginning Sunday, March 15, 2020. The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is postponed until fall 2020.

The Flying Pig Marathon is humbled and honored by the loyalty our participants have for all of our events. Many of you have asked if the 22nd running of the Flying Pig is still on schedule for May 1-3 and we would like to update you on our status.

Austin, TX – (Mar. 14, 2020) The City of Austin has cancelled the 43rd Statesman Capitol 10,000 on April 5.   It has banned public or private gatherings of 250 people or more.  The ban will take effect at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 and will continue until at least May 1, 2020.  The City of Austin will not permit the race to be rescheduled in 2020.
