Norway’s Sondre Nordstad Moen will continue taking aim at Europe’s distance running records when he attacks the longstanding continental one hour mark on home soil in Kristiansand in exactly one month’s time on Friday 7 August.

The Haspa Hamburg Marathon is scheduled to go ahead on September 13 with both elite and mass races. The news was announced by the organizers at a press conference today where they also set out a comprehensive hygiene policy, based on international expertise.

The men’s and women’s one-hour world records will be challenged at the AG Memorial Van Damme on 4 September when Brussels hosts an adapted version of its Wanda Diamond League meeting.
