ATLANTA, GA & EUGENE, OR – June 20, 2020 -- Separated by 2,700 miles, two of the country’s premiere track clubs faced off Saturday night in a first-of-its-kind dual meet. Oregon Track Club Elite bested Atlanta Track Club Elite in the Return of the Dual, a virtual head-to-head competition put on by TrackTown USA and Running City USA.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Leroy Burrell (Houston, Texas) set a world record in the men’s 100m on June 14, 1990 and was voted by fans as winner of the twelfth USATF Throwback Athlete of the Week award. ATLANTA, GA & EUGENE, OR – June 15, 2020 -- A coast-to-coast dual meet will be held in TrackTown USA and Running City USA on Saturday, June 20. TrackTown USA and Atlanta Track Club announced the “Return of the Dual” on Monday. 

Two-time Olympic 800m champion David Rudisha underwent surgery in Eldoret, Kenya, today after sustaining a fracture in his ankle last week. The injury is expected to sideline the world record-holder for 12-16 weeks.
