The Flying Pig Marathon is humbled and honored by the loyalty our participants have for all of our events. Many of you have asked if the 22nd running of the Flying Pig is still on schedule for May 1-3 and we would like to update you on our status.

Due to public health concerns, the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum will be closed temporarily beginning Sunday, March 15, 2020. The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is postponed until fall 2020.

We, here in Toledo, and the running industry as a whole, are taking this unprecedented health emergency very seriously and are working to provide you with the answers you need as soon as possible. Ultimately, the safety of our runners and community as a whole is our first priority.

Austin, TX – (Mar. 14, 2020) The City of Austin has cancelled the 43rd Statesman Capitol 10,000 on April 5.   It has banned public or private gatherings of 250 people or more.  The ban will take effect at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 and will continue until at least May 1, 2020.  The City of Austin will not permit the race to be rescheduled in 2020.

The Marine Corps 17.75K has been cancelled. Schools and places of work are closing. Public gatherings and events are being postponed, cancelled or conducted virtually. And individuals are left wondering how best to manage these challenging times. So now what?
