Jacksonville, FL – USATF athletes returned to national championships on Saturday morning in Jacksonville, Florida at the USATF 15 km Championships presented by Toyota. Emily Sisson (Phoenix, Arizona) and Clayton Young (Provo, Utah) ran to victory in the first race of the 2021 USATF Running Circuit presented by Toyota.


Moen, Naert, Meucci and Petros in strong Dresden half marathon - Strong fields in three different events promise thrilling races at the Itelligence Citylauf Invitational in Dresden on Sunday. While the half marathon features a number of top European runners a 10 k event and a marathon with athletes chasing Olympic qualification will also be staged during an eight hour show of road running. Norway’s former European marathon record holder Sondre Moen, Belgium’s European Marathon Champion Koen Naert, Daniele Meucci of Italy and the German marathon record holder Amanal Petros are among the top contenders in the half marathon. The race has a depth only seen a few times before in Germany at this distance and will be the best quality elite road race ever staged in the city of Dresden. 

Three Journey to Gold-Tokyo meets awarded Gold status on World Athletics Continental Tour - INDIANAPOLIS – USATF will see three Gold 2021 World Athletics Continental Tour events on its recently announced USATF Journey to Gold - Tokyo Outdoor Track & Field Series and other meets with silver and bronze status, USA Track & Field and World Athletics announced today (Wednesday).

DES MOINES – As announced last month, the 2021 Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom will include a high school division. The Blue Standards, known as the qualifying marks that guarantee acceptance for Iowa high schoolers in the Drake Relays when entered in the meet, have been announced.  When one of the marks is attained, an athlete knows that he or she will be #BlueOvalBound. In addition to these top athletes, coaches should also enter other team members outside of those marks for consideration on the accepted entry list.
